All About Gator Hunts For Heroes
This program provides once-in-a-lifetime alligator hunting experiences by pairing successful Florida tag holders with deserving heroes. Through generosity and teamwork, we create unforgettable outdoor adventures.
Our Mission: H3 Adventures is dedicated to providing military veterans and first responders with an unforgettable alligator hunting experience, focused on healing, camaraderie, and outdoor therapy. These guided hunts are designed for safety, connection, and purpose.
Why Gator Hunting?
Gator hunting is more than just a thrilling adventure; it's a powerful therapeutic experience. It combines the excitement of fishing and hunting, demanding both physical and mental strength. This challenging yet rewarding activity:

Florida issues 7,000 permits annually, each with two tags.

Tag holders can donate one tag to take a pre-registered Veteran, First Responder or Hometown Hero on a hunt.

Both the Hero and Tag Donor receive a FREE GUIDED HUNT led by experienced professionals.

Our program is simple and impactful:

Donate a Tag: Your generous donation provides a gator tag, directly funding a hero's life-changing experience.

Get selected and paired: We pair you with a Hero (Female Veteran, Paramedic, LEO, 911 Firefighter, etc)

Join the Hunt: You'll be paired with a skilled gator mentor and one of our heroes for an unforgettable guided gator hunt in Florida. (A fully guided hunt, typically costing $2,000–$5,000, is provided at no charge. All gear and equipment are supplied.)

How do we accomplish our goals collectively?
Our impact is truly a joint effort, beginning with our annual Poker Run for Heroes fundraiser, which generates significant funding for our program. We also rely on valuable partnerships with local businesses and state agencies that provide essential tags, permits, land and countless opportunities. Therapeutic Adventures
Gator Hunts For Heroes recognizes the therapeutic benefits of nature in addressing mental health challenges. We provide a variety of outdoor activities aimed at healing and wellness, with a primary emphasis on our Gator Hunts. But we don't stop there, our research indicates that participants with limited mobility or physical injuries experience comparable benefits from gigging, another one of our outdoor activities no limited to tags or seasons. We invite you to explore the outdoors with us and embark on a journey toward healing and revitalization.
